Dr. Shalini Jain, Ph.D., M.Opt., and Fellow of the prestigious L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, is a renowned optometrist with a career rooted in expertise, innovation, and leadership in the field of eye care. Completing her fellowship in optometry from L.V. Prasad between 1998 and 2000 laid the foundation for her specialization in clinical optometry, which she later honed with a Ph.D. from Churu, Rajasthan.

Dr. Jain’s extensive experience began at Dr. Shroff's Eye Hospital, Delhi, where she played a key role in establishing the Low Vision, Contact Lens, and Squint Clinics. Her leadership extended to heading the optometry training programs from 2004 to 2007, during which she pioneered fellowship initiatives across multiple specialties.
